Circa 1900. A neat-sized leather oak Thebes type stool, with solid oak frame with curved top with the seat made from intertwined leather straps held in place by brass studs, resting on four square legs with slight chamfering on the inside, the legs are brace by conforming stretchers towards the top of the leg, the underside with the makers label of ‘Arthur W Simpson, Kendall’ with registration numbers on the left and on the right hand side.

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
